A long standing Utah tradition for good reason. Affordable food that is delicious. I come here often because of the variety and how much they care about quality. Nothing on their menu misses. The staff is also A+++. Sean and Jerome always brighten up my day. They never fail to get me smiling. For many young folk in our community this is their first job and it’s so fun to watch them grow from the new guys into young confident adults. This truly is Purple Paradise. Keep up the good work, PG loves yall.
Old fashioned burgers that have been made with the same great quality since I've had them from 35 years ago, I also really enjoy their fish and chips. Most of all, I really love their onion rings! They are coated with thin layer crispy breading and fried until the onions are soft and sweet, perfect with the special pink sauce they got since the first time I've had it. Inside of the restaurant has their signature perple color scheme and is always clean and well maintained. Staff are super friendly and helpful. For 35 years, it's is still a place I would frequent often.
I had a great experience here today. Their burgers tasted fresh. They add some ingredients to their fries that stand out and are unique from other places. The service was excellent as well. I do think Their food is slightly overpriced, but it's worth the cost. Overall, this is a great place worth trying.
Incredible place! First time here and the food and shakes were incredible! I had a cherry shake it truly was the most amazing shake I've had in my entire life 💗 I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here! It's clean, prices are good, food and service amazing 🤩
We love Purple Turtle! My regular order is the blue bacon burger + fries. I'm super picky when it comes to burgers and won't get a burger at most places. I trust this restaurant and have not been disappointed. We've also enjoyed their shakes. This is one of my favorite places to eat!
Very impressed with a local Burger, Fries, and Shake place called the Purple Turtle. The shakes were amazing. I thought about having a 2nd one of my stomach would allow it. The double mile high burger was great. The Patty itself was a little thin but two of them made up for it. We had never tried the Halibut fish and chips before. Very impressed. I definitely like the french fries as well. The place was super busy and it took a few minutes to get a seat. Very helpful and friendly staff.
It’s been over 15 years since the last time I visited the Purple Turtle and I’m so happy that I went back again. It’s just as great as I remember and truly a Utah classic. This distinctive burger joint has been a landmark in Pleasant Grove for so long and there’s good reason why it’s still so popular. The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are pleasant. While parking is limited, there is a drive through and the wait is short. We opted to dine in and were pleased with the cleanliness of the tables and restrooms. The burgers were cooked perfectly and of course the shakes were fantastic as well. Definitely recommend.
My Father grew up in PG and would always talk about this place and how nostalgic it was for him. I ended up in the area today after my daughter's Marching Band Competition and thought we'd come check it out. I can honestly say I understand the hype! It was delicious! The food was hot, fresh, and so good. Also, the prices were great! I ordered the pastrami burger and subbed my fries for tots (obviously the superior potato choice) and I loved it! I can't wait to go back!
Cute little quick service food restaurant located in please grove. There is a walk up counter or a drive thru to order at. The inside is pretty small and there was only one table open when we came on a Friday night. It was also super hot inside (it was over 90 degrees outside though so I understand)! They are known for their “pink sauce” and it was a yummy fry sauce. Love that they have sides besides just fries - we tried the tater tots and potato chips, they also have onion rings, and potato “gems”. The Western Viking burger had BBQ sauce and onion rings on it - so good! The regular cheeseburger was a good size and yummy too. Kids meals come with a side and a small drink. We got a reeces pieces shake. The ice cream in it was great, but we would definitely pick a different flavor next time. It was just ice cream with a mix in basically. Overall really great and we’ll be back to try more!
